My current work primarily uses print. It pushes the boundaries of conventional printmaking through the use of unusual combinations of techniques. I make extensive use of electric tools, routers and drills. The effect is quite different from that achieved with the usual hand cutting instruments, and gives a greater freedom of expression. The type of line produced by these tools is more reminiscent of sketches and drawings, than traditional wood or Linocuts. With these techniques I combine oil pastel, gum arabic lithography, and Dry point etching.
